The Agape Love of God Is Like No Other
I have been doing this wonderful Greek word study on God’s “Agape” Love (which is the highest level of love there is, as demonstrated in John 3:16). This is the supernatural love with which God loves you and expects you to love others. He equipped you to supernaturally love like this by the power of His Holy Spirit through the love of Jesus. That kind of love was shed abroad in your heart if and when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
The following is an expanded interpretive translation of 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8. This is from Rick Renner’s book, Sparkling Gems from the Greek, 365 Greek Word Studies for Every Day of the Year To Sharpen Your Understanding of God’s Word.

God’s Love
“Love patiently and passionately bears with others for as long as patience is needed;
Love doesn’t demand others to be like itself; rather, it is so focused on the needs of others that it bends over backwards to become what others need it o be;
Love is not ambitious, self-centered, or so consumed with itself that it never thinks of the needs or desires that others possess;
Love doesn’t go around talking about itself all the time, constantly exaggerating and embellishing the facts to make it look more important in the sight of others.
Love does not behave in a prideful, arrogant, haughty, superior, snooty, snobbish, or clannish manner;
Love is not rude and discourteous – it is not careless or thoughtless, nor does it carry on in a fashion that would be considered insensitive to others;
Love does not manipulate situations or scheme and devise methods that will twist situations to its own advantage;
Love does not deliberately engage in actions or speak words that are so sharp, they cause an ugly or violent response;
Love does not deliberately keep records of wrongs or past mistakes;
Love does not feel overjoyed when it sees injustice done to someone else but is elated, thrilled, ecstatic, and overjoyed with the truth;
Love protects, shields, guards, covers, conceals, and safeguards people from exposure;
Love strains forward with all its might to believe the very best in every situation;
Love always expects and anticipates the best in others and the best for others;
Love never quits, never surrenders, and never gives up;
Love never disappoints, never fails, and never lets anyone down.”

Read these words from God’s Word out loud to yourself every day. Say them over and over until you get them down in your spirit and they become a part of who you are. Allow them to transform your thinking.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2).
God has made you in His image and likeness. He has made you to function like Him. You are made a king and priest. You have been given authority in your duty to advance the Kingdom of God as you extend and administrate the power of His rule.
And has made us kings and priests to God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. (Revelation 1:6).
A King doesn’t ask, he declares things. As an ambassador of God you are sent to represent His rule in this earth. God’s will for you is to obey His Word and establish His Kingdom here on earth. You can do that by making declarations of His Word. Practicing that principle will produce much fruit in your life.
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; and light shall shine upon thy ways. (Job 22:28).
Declaring a thing from God’s Word will cause God to back you up from a legal standpoint. God has designed everything in this universe to adjust itself to accommodate your words. The spirit world takes everything you utter as a mandate so this makes what you say so critical. You are told not to speak idle words because they are words with no Kingdom assignment.
But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it on the day of judgment. (Mathew 12:36)
You must speak only words that line up with God’s Word and God will back you up.
Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jeremiah 1:12).
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11).
Who confirms the word of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers. (Isaiah 44:26).
I believe that when the body of Christ truly starts operating in the God kind of agape love, this is when the world will be drawn into the Kingdom of God. Faith works by love and the world is dying to see this kind of love manifested in the sons of God in this earth. Let the love of Jesus through you be irresistible to others, that your Father in heaven may be glorified.
Apply these Kingdom principles of declaration to every area of your life. Start declaring by faith that you walk in God’s agape love then watch the transformation take place in Jesus mighty name.
This agape love is a free gift of grace from God. If you have not received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, do it right now by faith! Simply say this prayer aloud from your heart and invite Jesus to come into your life.

PRAYER OF SALVATION
Father, God in heaven, it is written in Your word that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead, I shall be saved.
Therefore, Father, I confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord. I make Him Lord of my life right now. I believe in my heart that you raised Jesus from the dead. I renounce my past life with Satan and close the door to any of his devices.
I thank You for forgiving me all my sin. Jesus is my Lord, and I am a new creation. Old things have passed away. Now all things become new, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Welcome to the family of God, child of God! You are loved with an everlasting love! Your name is now written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
